Four Mendoza
Genres: Imaginative Fiction, Slice of Life
Four Mendoza is a pen name used by our author who is a veteran marketing professional. He has vast experience writing for local newspapers and publications almost two decades ago using a different name. These days, he’s copywriting for non-profit organizations and small and medium technology enterprises, crafting their B2B content from whitepapers to case studies, blog posts, infomercials, social media promotion copies, and infographics, among others.
At HRBN Publishing, Four Mendoza takes on a genre that is quite different from his line of work — writing about slice-of-life stories that involve cats, friends, crushes, and human acquaintances. Most of his titles are based on real-life experiences and true stories — but sometimes with an imaginative twist.
Sam Ardavan
Genres: Fantasy Fiction, Science Fiction, Dystopia, Utopia
Sam Ardavan is a social media micro-influencer on YouTube, and occasionally on Instagram, who sometimes hibernates from these platforms and the real world. This is when he enters his “dream worlds” — where ancient magic and otherworldly beings exist or where futuristic science is claiming humanity in a world that has not yet come to pass.
To a moderate degree, Sam Ardavan plays Japanese anime-based game titles that are ported on the Nintendo Switch or memory-heavy mobile games such as Diablo Immortal, where he leads his clan and warband, Black Clover M, where he has chosen to be a lone wolf, or Mobile Legends, where he spends for those anime-themed hero costumes.
In his free time, Sam Ardavan is mostly working out as he loses his sanity if he misses his fitness routines in three days. He is also quite a heavy consumer of Japanese anime shows and stories.
Mara Gavan
Genres: Psychological Thrillers, Suspense, Fantasy, Poetry, Dark Humor
Probably the most senior writer we have, Mara Gavan has worked as a technical writer for the biggest technological corporations running the Internet and the online streaming industry. She might have written most of the instructional materials you’re reading on the help pages of that search engine everybody uses or perhaps the preferred streaming site everybody knows.
At HRBN Publishing, Mara Gavan writes books about which she is passionate. Since she is well-read, her genres transcend from psychological thrillers to fantasy, sci-fi, and even poetry. She tackles dark humor, too. Her forte is writing mind-bending stories.
A woman interested in culture and history, Mara Gavan’s free time comprises mostly traveling — or working while traveling or watching Netflix while still traveling. Above all else, she is a lover of coffee and authors a coffee-themed blog called “Coffeehan.” In her pursuit of the best coffee in the world, she even worked as a barista in Australia while studying the science of coffee and got herself certified. Check out her blog here.
J.V. Mateo
Genres: Self-Help and Personal Development, Psychological Nonfiction
J.V. Mateo is not only a first-time author but is also “literally” a first-time writer. HRBN Publishing discovered his penchant for words in the spoken language — a gifted speaker with chaotic and organized thoughts, speaking in two tones, where one is confused and the other is enlightened. This is how we found his great potential to become a writer and a published author.
In his first book The Art of Overthinking Non-Existent Romances, debut author J.V. Mateo translates his thoughts into a reader-friendly narrative that is relatable both mentally and emotionally, backed by research and personal experience.
J.V. Mateo is a licensed pharmacist by profession and a hardcore gamer of Octopath Traveler, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Hogwarts Legacy, among other AAA game titles that are ported on PC. That said, we could assume he has one of the latest Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) models, the best gaming monitor, and most likely even a well-built computer gaming setup.
